Are You Pregnant? Find Out Yourself, Soon.

Are you eagerly awaiting motherhood to happen any day? Or are you terribly anxious that it should, for reasons best known to you, not happen one of these days? In either case, it is advisable to carefully watch for any one, or, more than one of the following tell tale signs, which, in solo or unison, may or may not occur at all. For that is how nature works. Not only different women, but the same woman with her different pregnancies may experience very different signs or even no sign at all. How very surprising! The duration and intensity of these symptoms tend to be different at different times. However, being aware would always help you to take better care of yourself and your unborn baby. So here’s the checklist.

1) A missed period or any change in the menstrual cycle. For example- changes such as duration between two periods, length of the period, heavier flow, or if it has been easier or difficult than the usual, may signify pregnancy.

2) Do you feel exhausted and tired most of the time for no apparent reason? Watch out carefully, for you may well be on your way to motherhood. This is especially true for the first few months when fetus growth is very fast.

3) Tender, swollen and painful breasts are one of the earliest signs of pregnancy.

4) Unwarranted vaginal discharge can be a telltale sign, one which must not be ignored.

5) Headaches and dizziness could mean that you are not taking good care of yourself. It could also be a sign of some other illness like migraine or low blood pressure, but that is also one of nature’s hints about what you’ve been hoping for.

6) Some women may experience the need to urinate very frequently during the beginning of their pregnancy.

7) Constipation, heartburn and gas also sometimes trouble women in the early days of their pregnancy. Vomiting and nausea also signify the same for some. But be sure to rule out other valid reasons for such happenings.

8) The very much well-publicized sign of pregnancy may or may not trouble you- yes, I am talking about morning sickness. At least I was spared. However, extreme moodiness was there.

9) Sometimes, you would be amazed at how women find their food preferences altered drastically. Strong aversions and likings to certain food items and smells are characteristic signals, as is increased hunger.

10) Women are known to be intuitive, and this holds true in this field as well, so trust your intuition but beware of false pregnancy too. To be 100% sure, take the standard pregnancy test under proper supervision.

Once you’ve detected these signs and assured yourself of approaching motherhood, be sure to take good care. Most importantly, maintain a positive frame of mind to ensure trouble free pregnancy and happy motherhood. This means the well being of your baby as well. Happy parenting!
