In developing countries, adolescent sexual behavior is considered a stigma and a disgrace to the society. On the other hand, in developed countries, the norm of teenagers experimenting with their sexuality is considered integral to their culture. In developing countries like India and Africa, child marriage is the key reason for adolescent pregnancies. Minor rapes and sexual assault are other touted reasons. A pregnant teenager has to take good care of her diet during pregnancy. This is because she is not just facing the societal traumas but also fighting the internal change in her body. Pregnancy is period of various metabolic changes in the body. But it should be passed in a healthful way, free of tension to result into a successful delivery.
