High blood pressure or hypertension in infants is a worry for all parents. The main form of hypertension is primary hypertension. This occurs on its own. The cause may be lack of physical exercise and unhealthy eating habits. In infants, mostly secondary hypertension is found. Secondary hypertension occurs due to complications in the body. These complications may be congenital like a kidney or a heart disease.
